Mysterious Minds is a local foundation in Hull and East Riding that supports families that have lost a loved one to suicide. Mysterious Minds was founded by Chelsey Dalee and Leona Dalee in 2017 after losing Chelsey’s child’s dad and former partner, Jamie Swallow, to suicide. In 2020 Dawn Stansfield joined the team after losing her daughter Mollie to suicide and wanting to give back to the foundation after they donated towards Mollie’s funeral. For the first 4 years Mysterious minds functioned as a foundation but are now registered as a charity. Charity Number: 1205541

Why We Do It
As a team we are passionate about helping those struggling with mental health and those that have lost a loved one to suicide and aim to grow into a charity with the support of our community.
We support people struggling with mental health by signposting to appropriate services. For those that are grieving the loss of a loved one we can help you access relevant support
Funeral Donation
At Mysterious Minds we aim to relieve the needs of those suffering bereavement as a result of suicide. To meet this aim we can make a donation towards the funeral expenses of your loved one.

Christmas Eve Boxes
At Mysterious Minds we provide free Christmas Eve boxes for children under 18 that have lost a parent to suicide. To nominate a child message us on Facebook or email us.
Raise Money
We want to raise money to continue Mysterious Minds work through regular donations, raffles, and an annual sponsored walk as well as fundraising events by our local community.
Spreading Postivity
We place positive quotes around our local community of Hull with the hope of deterring people from suicide and encouraging them that people do care and they’re not alone.
